BTF Leaders Begin Naval Postgraduate School IdM Course

Three of the Biometrics Task Force top leaders have completed phase 1 of the all-new Naval Postgraduate School Certificate Program in Identity Management in Monterey, Calif. BTF’s Biometrics Operation Directorate Director Dave Lohman, Highly Qualified Expert William Vickers, and Biometrics Operations Division Examination Services Branch Chief Cheley Gabriel helped lead this ground-breaking initiative of specifically educated professionals within the Department of Defense.

The Identity Management certificate entails successful completion of five phases, including four classes taken two at a time, none of which have prerequisites, using a hybrid of in-residence sessions with extensive distance learning periods. These courses are also applicable toward a master’s degree at the Naval Postgraduate School should the student elect to continue his or her studies.
